Salmon Cake


Ingredients (3-4 pieces)
125 gr salmon fillet
2 Potatoes
Ground paprika/chilli powder
Black pepper
Thyme (optional)
Salt
Oil
1 egg
Breadcrumbs

Method
Mash the boiled potatoes. Chop the salmon fillet into very small pieces. Combine salmon, mashed potatoes, salt, thyme and spices. Knead it. Take a big piece from the fish mixture and shape it with your hands. 

Dip the fish cakes into beaten egg. Then toss it in breadcrumbs. 

Pour 1 tablespoon of oil to frying pan. When the oil sizzles, fry the fish cakes. 

Serving suggestion: Serve with lime or lemon.

Somon Köftesi

Malzemeler (3-4 parca)
125 gr somon fileto
2 Patates
Toz kirmizi biber
Karabiber
Kekik (istege bagli)
Tuz
Siviyag
1 yumurta
Galeta unu

Hazirlanisi
Haslanmis patatesleri pure haline getirin. Somon filetosunu cok kucuk parcalara kesin. Somonu, patates puresini, tuzu, kekigi ve baharatlari karistirip, yogurun. Buyuk bir parca balikli harctan alip, duz kofte seklini verin. 

Balik koftelerini once cirpilmis yumurtaya batirin. Sonra da galeta ununa bulayin. 

1 yemek kasigi siviyagini tavada isitin. Cizirdamaya basladiginda balik koftelerini kizartin.

Servis onerisi: Limon veya misket limonu ile servis ediniz.

  6. I have made cod cakes and crab cakes before but never a salmon cake, I'm thinking about making them tomorrow
